Kathryn is an SENR-accredited Sports Nutritionist with a diverse background in both the performing arts and elite sports. Her expertise spans working with musical theatre students, elite-level athletes, lecturing in higher education and administering public health nutrition programmes. Kathryn initially trained in dance during her undergraduate studies and has since built a specialised career in sports and public health nutrition.
In 2021, Kathryn earned an MSc in Dance Science with distinction from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, where she focused her dissertation on disordered eating and exercise behaviours among dancers. Following this, in 2022, she completed another MSc with distinction, this time in Applied Sports Nutrition, focusing on nutrition knowledge amongst performers.
Her professional experience includes working with a range of sports teams from AFC Wimbledon Women to Surrey Storm Netball. Currently, Kathryn works with musical theatre students at Urdang, lectures on BSc Sports and Exercise Nutrition degree programmes and provides nutrition support for Adult Management Programmes in the community.
